Our Work

While the charity is rooted in Christian values and works alongside the Diocese of Chichester, its services are open to absolutely any family, regardless of faith. The core mission is simply to step in and help those in need rather than looking the other way. The goal is always to strengthen family units, ensuring children have a secure environment and the absolute best start in life. 
 
Across Sussex, FSW offers intensive, one-to-one guidance for children and parents, alongside structured play sessions and group support. 
 
As part of this work, an After School Club runs on the first Wednesday of every month during term time for primary school children in the church hall. A dedicated team of volunteers from St Peter and St Paul’s helps a qualified practitioner run themed crafts, before serving up a proper cooked meal for the children and their carers.
