Accessibility at St Peter and St Paul's
We take great pride on our approach to accessibility here at St Peter and St Pauls. If you visit and you need help, please ask...... etc etc.

Building access
We have step free access to the Church, as well as the Church Hall, from the public pavements through the churchyard. Additionally, in both the Church and the Church Hall, there is step free access to accessible toilet facilities.

Accessible toilets
When the church was reordered in 2016, a key part of the investment was an extension incorporating modern accessible toilet facilities, that are accessed directly from the south aisle in the church. This completed the existing facilities contained within the church hall.

Hearing Loop
We have a modern Hearing Loop system installed in the church, which we know our visitors and many members of the congregation fully value, as it links in with our audio system. If you visit us, and you need assistance, please ask one of our volunteers who will be able to assist.

Visual Aids
We provide a series of visual aids, in various forms to assist those with visual impairments. We have large print versions of our weekly notice sheet available in the church, and our weekly 10am Sunday service uses modern projection equipment, with words presented on projectors and screens using best practice font and colour combinations. We have a limited "handheld tablet" facility to assist those with more significant visual needs, and are able to support members of the congregation who can/wish to bring their own tablet and run "companion software" that is linked to our displays. If you would like to know more about this, please ask a volunteer in the church, or alternatively, you can e-mail our technical team at: tech@rustingtonparish.church
