Our Team
We have 4 paid staff and over 100 volunteers working for the church both on site and in the village. Our Parochial Church Council (PCC) are an elected group of trustees for the church who have regular meetings to make decisions.
There are also several sub groups which manage areas such as the building and grounds, finances, social events etc. A few people in specific roles are below:

Reverend Natalie Bawcutt
Vicar
Natalie has been Vicar here since 2019 and loves living in Rustington and being part of the community. She plays percussion in a concert band and football for a local recreational team. She has a partner, two grown up children, and lots of pets – too many to list here! She loves encouraging others and being part of such a lively church who live out their faith in their community.

Gill Renny
Children & Families Worker
Gill leads our children's and young people's groups covering all ages from tiny babies up to teenagers. These are fun, friendly and welcoming. A large team of volunteers work with her to provide spaces where children and young people can experience God's love and explore faith in our church community. She also goes into the three primary schools in our parish to lead assemblies and to work in the food pantries that serve school families. Gill enjoys walking, reading, spending time with family and describes her role as the ‘best job in the world’!

Parish Administrator
Natalie is our Parish Administrator and works in the office. She's always on hand to help with any general enquiries. Since moving to the seaside with her husband and teenage children they have loved being part of this church community in Rustington. When the children aren't monopolising her time she enjoys dancing- specifically tap and Ballroom/Latin, meeting up with friends and walking on the beach. Natalie was formerly a trader in an investment bank.

Claire Birkhead
Authorised Lay Minister
Claire has been licensed by the Bishop to Lay Ministry. She serves the church in a number of ways with people of all ages – from youth work to nursing homes. She also enjoys working in schools particularly supporting young people through exams.

Pam is one of our preachers and also helps with our Bolders young people's group. She is part of a lively home group and loves sharing her faith through telling stories.

Wendy has extensive ministry experience and is working with the Chaplain at the Blind Veterans home in our Parish. She plays the guitar in our music group and also joins in with services at our nursing homes.

Church Warden
Jean has volunteered in a plethora of positions over the years and as Church Warden comes with a wealth of knowledge. She brilliantly organises a lot of our rotas amongst other things!
