Uknitty
Uknitty Club is a friendly and welcoming group of knitters and crocheters who meet every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month with crochet teaching offered for free on the 4th Monday. We meet in the church from 10.30am - 12.30pm with refreshments provided. Uknitty Club was created as part of St. Peter and St. Paul's Eco Church journey as it has a strong emphasis on using reclaimed/repurposed yarn for projects which help people or animals with a need. We welcome people new to crafting who might like to try knitting or crocheting and materials can be provided. Admission is free but donations, no matter how small, help us to cover costs.

Our Projects
We like to work on collaborative projects for good causes but also welcome members who want to work on their own projects in a welcoming environment too. This year we have been working hard making blankets for the charity Hamlin Fistula who provide hospital care and surgery for birth injured ladies in Ethiopia.
For 2027 new projects planned include making Christmas decorations for the church Christmas tree and making toys and blankets for the Queen Mothers Guild and Project Linus.
